Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast, we present Part 2 of our interview with Daisy Torme & James Torme, children of the great Mel Torme and actress Janette Scott. This episode is a long one. This entire conversation was almost three full hours because there was just so much to talk about. We really get a glimpse into the life of these two international siblings who lived in both England and America, spending time with both their parents after the divorce. These trips brought Daisy and James closer and made their time with both their parents all the more special. Their bond and their love for their parents shines through in every story.

Their mother, who made her last film in about 1967 starred in so many sci-fi classic films she actually has an annual film festival dedicated to her and how she became part of pop culture lore as she is namedropped in the song “Science Fiction/Double Feature” from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. And we haven’t even discussed their their grandmother, iconic British actress Dame Thora Hild whose 70 year career in film and TV in England made her a household name and her passing was treated like a state funeral.
